Supernova, backup your stars
En français plus bas
I like to star items in Google Reader as a way of being able to find the later when I need them. The probleme is the way I’m using stars would be better suited for bookmarks. Having realised that, I searched for a way to export my Google Reader starred items and found none.
I knew we could have an RSS feed of our starred items so I made a script that reads the RSS feed and export each link to a text file. I tought i could import this easely in my Firefox bookmarks… truns out I was wrong. The only way to import bookmarks was from an HTML file. So that’s wath I made.
You can get the script from Github. If you don’t have ruby you will need to install it.
